For our third Makeup Monday, Stefania and I thought we’d bring you a look that could work for everyday, if your short on time, or short on product! This monochromatic look was sweeping the runways and with its versatility on just about every skin tone, it’s no wonder this peach shade was most popular.
Since today’s makeup is monochrome, Stefania wanted to ensure that we had a smooth base to work with so that each peach shade would stand out on its own. We started off using Too Faced’s Hangover Primer. Having coconut water as a main ingredient, this primer is super hydrating and chock full of vitamins to make your skin feel awesome all day!
After foundation and very natural brows, we moved on to the star of the show, our Peaches blush from MAC. This shade of peach is bright without being too cartoony. Stefania dusted the blush onto the apples of my cheeks and blending up towards my ear. We continued onto my eyes using the same blush again loosely dusting the color over my lids.
To create my juicy peach lips, we used the same Peaches blush from MAC. (Crazy right?) We scraped a light layer off the top of the blush and mixed the loose powder on a separate palette with NYX clear lip gloss. With a matte face, I wanted my lips to shine, so we opted or the High Shine gloss. This technique is perfect for creating any personalized shade of lip color and you can play with the type of gloss you use to control shine!
