In between fashion shows, I decided to stop at one of my favorite NYC spots, Madison Square Park. great place to people watch, listen to music and GET STYLE SPOTTED! The team from Sally Hansen was out looking for some street style as inspiration for their new Complete Manicure nail polish to complement fall colors.
I was whisked away to get my new mani right in the heart of Flatiron, by none other than Ada Yeung. (The manicurist behind Phillip Lim’s SS17 Runway Show, how amazing!) You can follow her work at @adakiss. She flawlessly applied Sally Hansen’s Complete Manicure polish in shade “Pat on the Black 510” and w explained how this polish has the base coat built in. We sealed in the fabulous rich deep purple shade with a Quick Dry top coat leaving my nails dry, shiny and camera ready.
We took some street style photos while I explained how I get my fashion and beauty inspiration. “There are so many wonderful people, places and experiences in New York City that enough people don’t take advantage of. Like anything I buy, or experience, I need to touch it, feel it, and see it if brings me excitement. I think that’s most what I love about beauty, the excitement and the rush you feel when sliding your fingers through a new shadow, or the feeling that comes over you when you glide on a new shade of polish.” I left feeling thankful, beautiful and so lucky to be inspired by, and inspiring to my favorite city in the entire world.
