DSC_0335 DSC_0341 DSC_0338 DSC_0343 DSC_0345Working in the city has its perks. Even my short walk to work from Grand Central can bring forth countless fashion and beauty inspiration; coffee is never more than a block away and discovering new places to eat or see can be as easy as crossing the street.

Between our full-time work weeks, and school prep on weekends it gets hard for Bryan and I to check off all the ‘To-Do’s’ on our list. Yesterday, however, Bryan and I played hooky and had a city day. We decided to stop and eat first at Root & Bone. I highly suggest this spot if you’re ever in the mood for the most heavenly comfort food! Together we crushed some buckwheat cheddar waffles, crispy fried chicken and some good ole’ mac and cheese.

In an attempt to burn some of those calories, we took a walk down to New York Law, where Bryan will begin his law school journey in the Fall. (so exciting!!) Nestled right off of Chinatown, we decided to play tourists and walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and enjoy the beautiful weather before heading home.

I had such a great time with even better company! I’d love to hear your recommendations on great places in your city!
