It has definitely been a while since my last post, and I have to admit I was always the first to “yeah, yeah” those bloggers who say that blogging is a full time job. It is hard people!
I try to keep a pretty tight schedule for shooting photos, but sometimes life has other plans. In 2009, I was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis), a disease that affects your central nervous system. While everyone with MS is affected differently, I personally go through many days where every muscle in my body aches, or whole sides of my body fall completely paralyzed. Other days, I can feel seemingly unaffected, which makes it a difficult disease for others to understand. At the end of the day, I believe that everything happens for a reason, and each day will only make me stronger!
This month I am walking to raise money for the National MS Society at the MS Walk in New York. Please see the link at the bottom to join my team or help the cause!
I think it is important to raise awareness of a disease that not only affects me, but also 2.3 million people worldwide. I also think it is important to realize most issues that people deal with are not visible. So lets be nice to each other before we judge!
Now for the good stuff:
For those who live in the New York area, you can understand when I say that the weather needs to make up its mind. Scarf and gloves one day, and T-shirts the next, it’s always hard to decide how to dress for the day. I find the only solution is layers.
These sneakers are just too fun to pass up! If you ask me, I would say that metallics are a neutral, and I can already think of countless other outfits that I would wear these with. The platform gives me height without sacrificing comfort and is totally on trend with spring footwear.
As always, thanks for reading!
