I am a firm believer that fashion, beauty, and life in general should be fun; so eat that doughnut, wear a bold lip color and pull on some sequined leggings. (I’ll let you in on a little secret; confidence truly is the key to pulling off any look.) That being said, I bring you my third and last look in my t-shirt series. And if anyone tells you leggings can’t be glamorous, just show them these babies.
Of course my t-shirt is Asos, and this time I am putting the black Forever Tee to use. Let’s be honest though, all eyes are on these Forever 21 sequined leggings. You can find them here with other great pairs here and here. I’ve always been told ‘beauty is pain’, and sometimes that may be true. (Have you spent a night dancing in new stilettos? Or tried brushing the knots out of your teased and hair-sprayed hair?) So I love it when I can find a piece to prove that theory wrong. These leggings are lined with the softest material to keep you warm and comfy!
Since I would wear this outfit as a going-out look, I added this cape blazer and black pointed heels. Capes are every.where this season, and I ain’t mad about it. This blazer style cape is from Macy’s (here) and is cut straight to avoid looking bigger than I am. (Other options here and here)
My heels are Asos (here), but I think I could have worn converse for a more casual cool feel as well. To me, sequins are a neutral, and I would definitely wear these leggings day or night. My half-up, top-knot is a perfect transition hairstyle too. You can rock it all day, and let the bun down at night for a cool wavy top layer to your down-do.
